(Leaving Negril Jamaica)

Last night Peter, Kay, and I had a taxi take us back to Montego Bay to clear customs. Kay stayed to catch a flight and we picked up Peter’s dad, Chris, who will join us for the sail to and through The Panama Canal. This morning we cleared immigration in Negril (a different set of papers than customs) and shortly after noon departed for Panama, approximately a five day sail. The weather is nice, with bright sunshine, a moderate breeze and small waves. Hopefully that will hold for a while. (According to the weather faxes that Dick downloads it should be good through Saturday.)
